Overview¶
Pointr Cloud dashboard provides tools for managing user access within specific scopes. User access types —Super Admin, Admin, Editor, and Read-Only— have different permissions to manage users and activities. These permissions are limited by the user’s scope, which may cover a specific Site, Level, or Building. This setup ensures that each user only operates within their assigned area, maintaining secure and efficient control of the platform.
Below is an example of how user access and scopes are managed on the Pointr Cloud dashboard:
Permissions by User Access Types and Scope¶
Users can set the appropriate access types and scope to define access permissions for a new user. The table below outlines the actions each user type can perform within their scope.
